Skiing
There are three skiing centres and several cross country trails close to the Urdboefjellgard farm.

Haukelifjell Skisenter
This is an excellent place to experience some new skiing challenges. In Haukelifjell you can do off piste skiing as well as snowboarding in a perfect halfpipe. There are 2 lifts and 7 slopes. 60 km of welgroomed cross-country trails are waiting to be explored. Haukelifjell is located at about 25 km from the farm, in the direction of Vågslid.

Raulandsfjell Alpinesenter
The skicenter with some of the most challenging slopes in Telemart, it has 2 lifts and 4 hills and the largest height difference is 350 metres. Excellent conditions for skiers who like to build up some speed. It's located in Raulandsgrend, 30 km from the farm, in the direction of Rauland.

Rauland skisenter
This is a large skicentre with 7 lifts and 10 hills. It has ski slopes suitable for all the family and a separate children’s area with a lift. It's located at about 40 km from the farm in the direction of Rauland & Rjukan.

Cross country skiing
In Edland and Haukeli, at about 10 km from the farm, is a network of well-groomed trails. The trails are running mainly to the south of the Kjela river, which flows through the area. All the trails are wide enough to allow room for both skating and conventional skiing.
