Fishing
Beneath the farm at the foot of the hill, is a small private lake which is full of trout. Trout is Norway’s most well known fish and considered a delicatessen all around the world. The best time to catch the trout is in the afternoon when the fish are starting to look for food. They jump out of the water to catch small flies and insects. The best way of fishing for trout is to use a fake fly, which you slowly pull over the water surface using a rod with a hand mill. You can either do this standing on the wall or slowly drifting in a boat. After you've catched a few fishes you can clean them in the evening, and stove them in the fireplace or roast them on the barbeque. You will get the best taste by wrapping the fish up in silver foil with some butter and salt on it.
