Eld Hüset This is the oldest building on the propery. It is build somewhere around 1400 A.D. and still has lots of traditional elements kept in place. It is made out of solid tree trunks and has a grass roof. Inside the cabin is a large fireplace for cold winter evenings and an iron stove to keep the cabin warm in spring, summer and autumn. There is a kitchen corner in the cabin with a refrigirator, three electrical plates and of course a complete set of pots, pans and dishes. While enyoing your diner at the dining table you have a nice view over the valley. The left wall of the cottage has two staple beds with room for four persons. The staple beds are from around 1930 and tall people could find them a bit short. Sanitary facilities like a toilet, shower and bath are in the barn. Stalten As the name says this used to be the stable where the horses where kept. It stands on mountain stones and is partly made out of solid tree trunks. Like the other cabin it also has a roof with grass on it. The living room consists of an iron stove, a dining table, a bench and one staple bed for two adults. In the hall is some cooking equipment like electrical plates, a refrigirator and a complete set of pots, pans and dishes. There's also a second staple bed with room for two children. Sanitary facilities like a toilet, shower and bath are in the barn. |
